Secret of Satan's Traps and Tactics.

Satan's Lie of Another Way

There are many traps Satan sets for Mankind, but one of Satan's most successful traps is the idea that there are other roads that lead to God and salvation. Satan's premise is "You're a good person and your works are sufficient to get you into Heaven.". You don't have to adhere to a belief system that doesn't match with your intellect or 'feelings'. You can obtain a relationship with God through many roads, even one where we pick and chose what we feel is the "Best" road for us individually. Witchcraft, Psychics, New Age Thought, spiritism, personal enlighten, whatever works best for the individual is the road that is best suited for your walk through this life. This is what Satan wants you to believe.

There are many different roads Satan wants Mankind to travel, but, just not the one leading towards Jesus Christ. Satan uses his Demonic forces to deceive and lead Mankind away from the only path that leads to a true relationship with the all knowing and loving God.

There are countless ways Satan distracts us from a true relationship with Jesus. One way that is gaining acceptance around the world is through Spiritual Enlightenment through Spirit Guides using Seducing Spirits and Doctrines of Demons who seduce Mankind to pursue their own way. The ultimate goal is to find Self Realization and what is the gist of this Self Realization?... It's that you are really a god yourself and are equal to the God of the universe. If you believe this you are being deceived and, I'm sorry to say, are living in a state of Self Delusion.

(1Timothy 4:1) Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

I won't go into depth here about all of Satan's methods of deceit, because all one has to do is search the internet and you'll see how far Mankind has drifted from the plumb line belief in God. If there is one thing that jumps out in most of the false religions and spiritual endeavors to undertake, it's that they teach the same thing that Satan taught in the Garden of Eden during his discourse with Eve...

(Genesis 3:1) Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

(Genesis 3:2) And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

(Genesis 3:3) But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

(Genesis 3:4) And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

(Genesis 3:5) For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil

(Mark 1:9) And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in the Jordan.

(Mark 1:10) And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens rent asunder, and the Spirit as a dove descending upon him:

(Mark 1:11) and a voice came out of the heavens, Thou art my beloved Son, in thee I am well pleased.

(Mark 1:12) And straightway the Spirit driveth him forth into the wilderness.

(Mark 1:13) And he was in the wilderness forty days tempted of Satan; and he was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.

Usually in the process of this deceptive enlightenment, Satan uses Bible scripture to argue his position just like he did when he confronted and tempted Jesus while in the wilderness.

During this time of temptation, Satan used scripture against Christ but subtly changed their meaning in order to try to deceive Jesus into doing what Satan wanted, but Jesus only rebuked Satan with the proper use of scriptures and Satan's efforts to deceive Jesus failed, but his efforts are proving successful on Mankind.

The rejection of Jesus being the only true path to God is one reason Mankind wants a different path to God. Mankind wants to make their own way to God and we've even gone as far to create our own individual religious beliefs by picking and choosing segments of other religions that we like in order to fit our own spiritual needs or intellectual desires.

(John 14:6) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The Bible has a lot to say about the mind of Man and how we do not want to admit there are rules and ways that God wants us to behave or think. Mankind simply does not want to bow to another over our own desires. We think we can obtain salvation and a relationship with God on our own terms. But the Bible states...

(Proverbs 14:12) There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death

Commentary - John Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible:
A way ... - The way of the fool, the way of self-indulgence and self-will.
Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,.... As the way of sin and wickedness does, it promising much carnal pleasure and mirth; there is a great deal of company in it, it is a broad road, and is pleasant, and seems right, but it leads to destruction; so the way of the hypocrite and Pharisee that trusts to his own righteousness, and despises others, and even the righteousness of Christ; or however does not submit to it, but tramples upon him, and counts the blood of the covenant an unholy thing, and so is deserving of sorer punishment than the profane sinner; yet on account of his good works, as he calls them, fancies himself to be in a fair way for heaven and happiness; so Popery, through the pomp and grandeur and gaudiness of worship, through the lying miracles of the priests, and the air of devotion that appears in them, seems to be a right way;

but the end thereof are the ways of death; which lead unto eternal death; for that is the wages of sin, let it appear in what shape it will.
Believers Bible Commentary:

Proverbs 14:12 The way which seems right to men is salvation by good works or good character. More people go down to hell laboring under that misconception than under any other. (See also Pro_16:25.)

In a broader sense, the way which seems right to a man is his own way, the path of self-will that scorns divine guidance or human counsel. It can end only in disaster and spiritual death.

(John 10:1) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

(2Timothy 3:1) This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
(2Timothy 3:2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
(2Timothy 3:3) Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
(2Timothy 3:4) Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
(2Timothy 3:5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Commentary - Albert Barnes' Notes on the Bible
(2Timothy 3:5) Having a form of godliness - That is, they profess religion, or are in connection with the church. This shows that the apostle referred to some great corruption in the church; and there can be little doubt that he had his eye on the same great apostasy to which he refers in 2 Thes. 2:, and 1 Tim. 4: All these things to which he refers here have been practiced and tolerated in that apostate church, while no body of men, at any time, have been more zealous in maintaining “a form of godliness;” that is, in keeping up the forms of religion.

But denying the power thereof - Opposing the real power of religion; not allowing it to exert any influence in their lives. It imposes no restraint on their passions and carnal propensities, but in all respects, except in the form of religion, they live as if they had None. This has been common in the world. The most regular and bigoted adherence to the forms of religion furnishes no evidence in itself that there is any true piety at heart, or that true religion has any actual control over the soul. It is much easier for people to observe the forms of religion than it is to bring the heart under its controlling influence.

(John 14:6) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Commentary - Albert Barnes' Notes on the Bible
(John 14:6) I am the way - See Isa_35:8. By this is meant, doubtless, that they and all others were to have access to God only by obeying the instructions, imitating the example, and depending on the merits of the Lord Jesus Christ. He was the leader in the road, the guide to the wandering, the teacher of the ignorant, and the example to all. See Joh_6:68; “Thou hast the words of eternal life;” 1Pe_2:21; “Christ - suffered for us, leaving us an example that ye should follow his steps;” Heb_9:8-9.

The truth - The source of truth, or he who originates and communicates truth for the salvation of men. Truth is a representation of things as they are. The life, the purity, and the teaching of Jesus Christ was the most complete and perfect representation of the things of the eternal world that has been or can be presented to man. The ceremonies of the Jews were shadows; the life of Jesus was the truth. The opinions of men are fancy, but the doctrines of Jesus were nothing more than a representation of facts as they exist in the government of God. It is implied in this, also, that Jesus was the fountain of all truth; that by his inspiration the prophets spoke, and that by him all truth is communicated to men.

The life - See Joh_11:25, and Joh_1:4.

No man cometh to the Father but by me - To come to the Father is to obtain his favor, to have access to his throne by prayer, and finally to enter his kingdom. No man can obtain any of these things except by the merits of the Lord Jesus Christ. By coming by him is meant coming in his name and depending on his merits. We are ignorant, and he alone can guide us. We are sinful, and it is only by his merits that we can be pardoned. We are blind, and he only can enlighten us. God has appointed him as the Mediator, and has ordained that all blessings shall descend to this world through him. Hence he has put the world under his control; has given the affairs of men into his hand, and has appointed him to dispense whatever may be necessary for our peace, pardon, and salvation, Act_4:12; Act_5:31.

If you find yourself in a religion, cult or belief structure that does not align with what Jesus said, then please reconsider where you are now. You are not on the true road to God or Salvation.

Have you been deceived into believing another way or have you found that you are not on the road you really should be on? If so, please think about what I've written here and consider a life directional change to Jesus. If you do not know or have drifted away from God, please consider changing your life and accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.

On a final note, understand that Satan does not want you to believe in Christ and will continue to deceive and misdirect you from a decision to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Please do not put it off or continue in Satan's deception for your life.

(1Peter 5:8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
(John 14:6) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
