What is the Everlasting Gospel?
To put it simply… The Gospel message of the Bible can be distilled down to a promise, and that promise states that we can be redeemed from the enslavement of sin and brought back into a loving relationship with God, the Father, through God’s plan of redemption. The Son of God was incarnated into a man, Jesus, to redeem us from sin and to show us the true character of the Father, which is Love and compassion for mankind.
Sin entered into God’s kingdom through an anointed angelic cherub by the name of Lucifer. Many believe that God created Satan, but God did not create Satan, God created an angel named Lucifer and Lucifer by his own choice became Satan. Satan means the enemy, the adversary or the accuser and is known as the father of lies and the originator of sin.
(Ezekiel 28:14) Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
(Ezekiel 28:15) Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
iniquity ~ noun uncommon
1. absence of moral or spiritual values; the powers of darkness 2. morally objectionable behavior
In the Garden of Eden, Satan deceived Eve into questioning the authority and truth of God’s word. By believing Satan’s lies, Eve sinned causing the whole of mankind to be entrapped into a sinful nature and death.
(Genesis 3:1) Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
(Genesis 3:2) And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
(Genesis 3:3) But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
(Genesis 3:4) And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
(Genesis 3:5) For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
(Genesis 3:6) And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Because we now live under a fallen sinful nature because Eve fell for Satan’s deception, sin was imputed to us and we are all guilty of sin because we practice sin and our human characters are identified with sin. Sin distilled into its simplest form really means self will, or selfishness. In other words, look out for oneself, even at the expense of others. Selfishness is against the nature of God and in God’s Kingdom Self-Less-Ness reigns supreme. God is a loving God, but He is also a just God and will destroy sin and all those who continue to entangle their character with sin.
The reason God will destroy sin is for the protection of all of the other beings who live under the peaceful, safe and loving nature of God’s Kingdom. God’s Kingdom dwellers choose not to live under the deception of sin. Sin destroys and hurts others, so God will destroy sin because it has no place in His Kingdom.
Because we are sinners we will pay for our own sins after the Judgment, and will be destroyed along with sin in the Second Death, unless we trust in the finished substitutionary atonement work of Jesus.
Jesus died on the cross of Calvary for the sins of the world and He offers His sinless life as a substitution for our life. Everyone is credited with the free gift of salvation, all we need to do is to freely accept God’s free gift of Salvation through His son Jesus. God knew we could not do it on our own, so Christ came to rescue us from Sin, Satan and death, all of which will eventually be eliminated from God’s Kingdom.
Because God knows all things, He knew that our world would be plunged into sin and He devised a plan of redemption and salvation for mankind through His son, Jesus. This plan was devised before our world was even made and was a plan to redeem and rescue mankind from Satan’s deceptions of sin…
(1 Corinthians 2:7) But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
(Ephesians 1:4) According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
(2 Timothy 1:9) Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
(Titus 1:2) In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
(1 Peter 1:20) Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
So you see, God had a plan to defeat Satan, his lies, and sin so that we could be saved through Jesus Christ, the second Adam. Because all who sin will die…
(Romans 6:23) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Because we are sinners, the penalty for sin is death for us all. This may be unfair, but this is the case. Did we have a choice to live under this penalty of sin? No, we didn’t, it was forced upon us by Satan.
Sin was passed on to us by our original parents, Adam and Eve. We were infected by sin just as if we had been infected by a virus. We had no choice. Remember, sin doesn’t just affect you, it also affects and touches others. Did Jesus ever sin? No, Jesus never sinned, so Sin and Death have no right to claim ownership of Jesus. Sin, Death, and the Final Judgment have no hold or right to destroy Jesus in Hell-Fire.
Jesus’ death on the cross shows that He, the second Adam, succeeded in winning back the right to be called the Lord of His creation. Because our original parents disobeyed God, humanity had no choice but to be born captive under the penalty of sin. Satan falsely claimed the rights of the Human race even though he had illegally captured the Human race through deception and lies.
Satan forced us, “without our consent”, under the penalty of sin and stripped away our freedom of choice, and alienated us from a loving God. Now that Jesus is truly the legal owner and Lord of the Human race, He is giving us a “Choice”… either to accept His free gift of salvation or retain or keep sin and die the Second Death.
We now have a choice which we didn’t have before! Jesus offers us the freedom to choose Him and if we do, we are legally exempt from the Second Death and will not have to pay the price for our sins, which is death.
So what will be your decision? Please don’t let pride or misunderstanding cause you to miss this wonderful gift of eternal life with the promise to live in the presence of God and His other creations forever.
(Philippians 2:5) Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
(Philippians 2:6) Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
(Philippians 2:7) But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
(Philippians 2:8) And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
(Philippians 2:9) Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
(Philippians 2:10) That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
(Philippians 2:11) And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
If you do not know Jesus as your personal Savior, please follow these 6 steps:
1) [Acknowledge] — (Romans 3:23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
2) [Repent] — (Luke 13:3) I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
3) [Confess] — (1 John 1:9) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
4) [Forsake] — (Isaiah 55:7) — Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
5) [Believe] — (John 3:16) — For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
6) [ Receive] — (John 1:11) — He came unto his own, and his own received him not. (John 1:12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

If you made a decision to follow Jesus you will need to plug into a good Bible believing Church. A Bible believing Church is one that believes in the truth of the Bible and practices the teachings of Jesus in our daily walk. Remember, having a personal relationship with Jesus means you will need to spend time with Him in prayer and regular Bible reading.
(Hebrews 10:25) Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (i.e. The Second Coming of Jesus)
You will need help in your walk with Jesus and that is what the Church is for, to help us make our walk with Jesus more fruitful and enjoyable. Just like it is in the jungle, lions like to separate their prey from the herd so that they can pounce on, and kill them. It’s the same with the Devil. He always wants to separate us from other believers, so he can destroy us.
Remember: (1 Peter 5:8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
